Aurora light

An aurora ( අරුණාලෝකය ) is a natural light display in the sky. Particularly in hight latitude regons caused by the collision of energitic changed particles with atoms in hight latitude atmosphere.
Aurora can be seen above north and south pole after sunset.

මෙයට හේතුව වන්නේ ඉහල වායුගෝලයේ ප්‍රෙභල අංශු පරමානු සමග ගැටීමෙන් ඒවායෙ සිදුවෙන වෙන්සයි
අවුරෝරා උතුරු සහ දකුණු ගෝලයේ රට වලට හිරු බැස යාමෙන් අනතුරුව දැකිය හැක.

තොලබෝ දුර්ලභ ඔසු පැලෑටියකි. මෙය කටු ගල් වැනි දෑ ඇනුනු විට ඒවා ඇදීම සදහා යොදා ගනී. ඊට අමතරව ගල් තැලුම් වලට ප්‍රෙතිකාරයක් ලෙස කහ සමග මිශ්‍ර කර වේදනාව ඇති ස්තානයේ ආලේප කිරීමෙන් සුව වේ. මෙම ශාකයේ සුදු පැහැති මල් හට ගන්නා අතර තද දුර්ගන්දයක් හමයි.

Kadupul flower

The kadupul flower ( කඩුපුල් මල ) belong to cataceae family and epipyllum genus binomial/ botanical name is epipyllum oxypetalum this flower blooms very rarely and only at night. The flower wits before dawn. This flower has uniq fragrance.

නාරංගල කන්ද ඌව පලාතේ බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රීක්ක‍යේ පිහිටා ඇත. මේ කන්ද සමනල කන්ද හා සමාන වේ. නමුත් මෙහි සිරිපතුල නොමැත. ජනප්‍රවාදයක් අනුව එක් පෝය දිනක බුදුන් වහන්සේ ලංකාවට වැඩම කර නාරංගල ප්‍රෙදේශයෙ තම සිරිපතුල තැබීමට අදහස් කලද පෝය දිනයක් වූ එදිනද මෙ ප්‍රෙදේශයේ සී සානු දැක මෙහි සිරිපතුල නොතබා සමනල කන්දට වැඩ් බව කියවේ. එසේම තවත් ජනප්‍රවාදයකට අනුව මේ කන්දෙ අති පලතුරු එම ස්තානයේදීම ආහරයට ගත යුතු අතර නිවසට ගෙන ආවොත් නරක් වේව්
Narangala hill
Narangala hill is located badhulla district uwa province sri lanka.
This hill same to adam's peak (sripadha kandha) but there is'nt buddha's sacred footprint here.
Accoding to folk tail one full moon pooya day buddha visit to sri lanka and also visit naarangala. Then decide to take his sacred footprint here. But he saw a plough a man here on poya day also.
Therefore buddha decided to go adam's peak.
Accoding to another folk tale there are many fruit here and they can eat it in that places only. If bring away in this hill they spoil.

Dutusathutu mal/ monara pethan

දුටු සතුටු යනු දුර්ලභ ශාක විශේශයකි. මේවා පන්දුරු ලෙස වැඩේ. මෙහි මල් පිපීමට නිශ්චිත කාලයක් නොමෙත. දුටු සතුටු denella ensiolia යන උද්භිත නාමයෙන් හන්දුන්වයි. මෙහි මල් ලා දම් පාටින් යුක්ත වේ.
මෙහි විශේශත්වය නම් ලී පොලු දෙකක් මල දෙපසින් බුරුලට ඇලූ විට පොලු දෙක ඉබේම ලං වෙයි. මෙයට හේතුව මේ මල සතු ආකර්ශන බලයක් බව පවසයි. මේ මල් පැලයක් අති ගෙදරට දෙවියන් ආකර්ශනය වෙන බව පවසයි.කෙසේ වෙතත් ලී පොලු දෙක එකට ලං වීමට හේතුව ස්තිති විද්‍යුතය වේ.

Dutu satutu is a rare plant. This plant grow as bush. There are no seasons to flowering. Flower's colour is violet. Botanical name is danella ensiolia.
if you hold a wood pool knits into flower you can see draw near the pole into flower. This is wonder of this plant.

Very rare flower plant naarilathaa also known as liyathambara belong to orchid family this flower shaped as a girl's body. Therefore named as narilatha. Some websites mention that narilata can be seen only in india. It is not correct. This flower plant can be seen also sri lanka.

මෙහි විශේශත්වය වන්නෙ ජලය නොකඩවා ඉහලට විදීමයි මෙයට පීඩන යනුවෙන් නම් ලැබීමට හේතුව කිසියම් බලයකින් ඉහලට ජලය තල්ලු වීමයි. පොලව මට්ටමෙ සිට අඩි 5ක පමන උසකට පීඩනය මගින් ජලය තල්ලු කිරීමක් සිදු වේ මෙයට හේතුව වන්නෙ රත් වූ ජලය ලාවා සමග ඒ අතරින් ජලය ගලා යාම නිසා පීඩනයකට භාජනය වීමයි. මෙහි උශ්නත්වය සෙල්සියස් අන්ශක 64ක් පමන වේ. මෙහි ජලය මගින් වී වගාව කරනු දක්නට ලැබේ
