නාරංගල කන්ද Naarangala hill

නාරංගල කන්ද ඌව පලාතේ බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රීක්ක‍යේ පිහිටා ඇත. මේ කන්ද සමනල කන්ද හා සමාන වේ. නමුත් මෙහි සිරිපතුල නොමැත. ජනප්‍රවාදයක් අනුව එක් පෝය දිනක බුදුන් වහන්සේ ලංකාවට වැඩම කර නාරංගල ප්‍රෙදේශයෙ තම සිරිපතුල තැබීමට අදහස් කලද පෝය දිනයක් වූ එදිනද මෙ ප්‍රෙදේශයේ සී සානු දැක මෙහි සිරිපතුල නොතබා සමනල කන්දට වැඩ් බව කියවේ. එසේම තවත් ජනප්‍රවාදයකට අනුව මේ කන්දෙ අති පලතුරු එම ස්තානයේදීම ආහරයට ගත යුතු අතර නිවසට ගෙන ආවොත් නරක් වේව්
Narangala hill
Narangala hill is located badhulla district uwa province sri lanka.
This hill same to adam's peak (sripadha kandha) but there is'nt buddha's sacred footprint here.
Accoding to folk tail one full moon pooya day buddha visit to sri lanka and also visit naarangala. Then decide to take his sacred footprint here. But he saw a plough a man here on poya day also.
Therefore buddha decided to go adam's peak.
Accoding to another folk tale there are many fruit here and they can eat it in that places only. If bring away in this hill they spoil.
